The Grafton Historical Society will present popular Boston area entertainer and radio personality, Mel Simmons, in a retrospective on the Big Band sounds of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s and the people who created them. The program is set for Sunday, February 2 at 2 p.m. at the South Grafton Community House.

“We are so happy to be welcoming the always popular Mel Simmons again this year – and we hope everyone will join us for his terrific program,” says Linda Casey, Grafton Historical Society President. “It’s sure to be an entertaining show combining the music of the era and fascinating stories about the band leaders and performers who made it so memorable.”

The South Grafton Community House is located at 25 Main St., South Grafton. A donation of $5 is requested.
