Linda Casey, with the help of many people in South Grafton, Grafton, and North Grafton, has created a new book about Grafton’s history!

“Grafton,” the story of our historic town, told by Linda Marean Casey and the Grafton Historical Society is the newest addition to Arcadia Publishing’s popular Images of America series. The book boasts over 200 vintage images and showcases memories of days gone by. These images have come from the Grafton Historical Society’s extensive collection along with photos from the private collections of Grafton residents.

Images of long gone buildings are featured, including the original meetinghouse built on the Common in 1735. We hope this work will bring back fond memories for those who were part of Grafton’s history, and will inspire others who were not. “I hope that it will bring moments of pleasure and delight to those who remember the times recorded by these images”, said Linda. “Perhaps these stories will spark interest in how people lived and solved problems in earlier times.”
